The International Day of Yoga was celebrated in Begumpet Kendra on June 24, 2018 from 5 pm to 6.30 pm followed by open house. Almost 20 new devotees attended the programme. Along with our own devotees there were a total of 70 attendees. We followed the YSS protocol as per the guidelines. Since there were a few new Gujarati ladies who attended, we had to explain in Hindi as well. The chant "Door of my heart" was sung both in English and Hindi. During the introduction of YSS, we also presented some important pictures of YSS in a ppt (which is attached herewith). The devotees were led through the guided meditation, visualization and healing prayers exactly as per the guidelines given by Ranchi. Snacks were served downstairs, and also they were able to interact with our devotees. We are happy for the enthusiastic participation of our own devotees who were told to bring atleast one new person along with them. There was a power failure just before playing Swami Smarananandaji's talk (Although we have a power backup the projector could not be connected), so we had to add another chant "O God Beautiful" until the power returned. Around 15 applications were given and 5 members joined immediately. The guests lingered to interact with our devotees till 7 pm.One couple came after being inspired by the Oracle programme we had conducted.
