Hyderabad Dhyana Kendra undertook a school benches distribution programme to aid three primary schools in Bandlaguda in Patancheru. The children in these government schools were in dire need for school benches, as they have been uncomfortably studying on the floor. Hyderabad Dhyana Kendra took the services of the prisoners in Chanchalguda jail and gave them the order of completing the task of making 70 benches (desks attached to benchesfor sitting) at a cost of 1.78 Lakhs. This project not only gave revenue to the jail inmates, it also benefited the children in a big way. In a special function held in Patancheru on November 29, 2017, the Chairman Sri Ashish and Secretary, Smt Nirmala Macherla, Advisory Committee Member Sri R.N Raju, the donor of the project Dr Siddharth Reddy, representing our Kendra, attended the event. From the recipients side, the Mandal President, the Sarpanch and his deputy were present. The children and staff of the schools were also present.
