Every year on the occassion of birth anniversary of our beloved Gurudeva, Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda, the Kendra gives scholarships to selected students who have secured admission into a professional course which will prepare them for gainful employment. For example: Nursing, B.Ed., Engineering, Medical etc. The selection of students for the scholarships is based on merit as well as the cases where students find it difficult to finance the cost of their education. On Jan 10, 2016,  Sw. Madhavananda Giri gave scholarships on behalf of the Kendra to 5 students who were doing professional courses.
